I Will I Said
A drive to Palo Alto this morning, a session with the anesthesiologist. What prescriptions are you taking? Many prescriptions. A blood test, then an EKG. I'm OK for the operation Monday morning at Stanford, he said. I'm OK for a week of disability pay, the HR department said, which means I won't have to burn up any vacation. I myself am less than OK for Monday, but not so less I can't suck it up in return for a week of not working. Life is strange, it doesn't get any less strange as you grow older.

Otherwise the day has gone well. I feel somewhat fried, I'm not sure about this digital camera yet and the pictures it takes, but I'm pretty sure I was supposed to acquire it and learn what it has to teach me. One of the people at our office who has a job that requires he know the car market mentioned the used car market is very good here in the bay area because so many people are leaving. Try Craig's list, he suggested. I will I said.

The photograph was taken at The House of Prime Rib in San Francisco one Friday last month with a Nikon F5 mounted with a 28 - 70mm f 2.8 Nikkor lens on Kodak TMax-400 and processed by Tony Molatore in Berkeley.
