San Francisco 2008 Cherry Blossom Festival Parade.

Under here.

April 26, 2008

Successful Saturday
Saturday. Converted another page of Dykes on Bikes on artandlife to the new format last night. I want to convert all of them to the new format before the parade comes up in June. Well, actually, before the end of next week. Putting something off until June is to put it off forever here in Sole ProprietorLand. They're not done, I have another few hours to go before they'll be finished, but I'm pleased with the progress. It's good to finish an evening feeling pleased and not too drunk.

You weren't drunk.

True, but it sounds good. Just me, my camera and Old Mama Lion.

Then again it's morning. Mark and Socorro are having a party to celebrate the completion of the deck that will now give them a view of the entire bay and both bridges from Oakland to San Francisco as they sit nursing an evening martini up there in the El Cerrito hills. Which means today's lunch is covered.

Later. Picked up an orchid at the farmer's market (beautiful blue flowers, why didn't I take a picture?) that I've seen people carrying away from the farmer's market these last couple of Saturdays to bring as my contribution to the deck celebration this afternoon and arrived in time for a Bloody Mary or two before with and after dinner. Nice deck (actually, a very nice deck), home in plenty of time to watch my Japanese soaps on channel twenty-six. Another successful Saturday, here in Oakland.
