What's Going On
Wednesday. Wilson's eye surgery went well and, although things are blurry at the moment with the various eye drops, he's due to see clearly in another week. I'm looking forward to seeing him.

Not so bad this morning, the same aches and pains but more like their ghosts or their children than their usual selves. Maybe get this various aches and pains business behind me now with a little more time. The weather's crappy, but the attitude is better, maybe take something more than the barest turn on the camera and quick pull the trigger portrait starting next week. I have a fabric light diffuser arriving tomorrow I'd like to try out when the energy comes back. No, I would. Really. I'm a procrastinator but I do eventually deliver.

Later. A trip to Safeway to buy laundry detergent. OK. That's a good sign. Getting me to go to Safeway for food because I'm hungry (not that I've been hungry) has been a big effort lately and getting me out the door to pick up laundry detergent, even with everything I own in the laundry basket, is a sign of emerging energy or insanity, can't tell which. Insanity if I think about it.

Later still. Even I don't believe what's happened. I've run four loads of laundry. God knows what's going on.

The photograph was taken this afternoon in the apartment with a Nikon D3 mounted with a 24 - 70mm f 2.8 Nikkor G lens at 1/60 second, f 2.8, ISO 200 and an off camera SB-900 strobe light.
