Tomorrow

Tuesday. Another decent night's sleep, awakening half an hour before the alarm. Turn the lights out half an hour early, get to sleep half an hour early, awaken half an hour early: could the body be trying to tell me something?

Anyway, another overcast morning, no quite as cool as it was yesterday (was the thought, anyway, could easily as not be wrong about that) and out the door to walk to breakfast, but catching a passing bus on the way home. We need to pick up another prescription refill later today, so we'll make up the walking then.

A slow enough start to the morning, a bath as I listened to comments by the Greek Finance Minister I'd missed earlier on Democracy Now as I was getting ready to set out for breakfast, the rest of the day (other than picking up that prescription) devoted to finishing the weekend's Cherry Blossom Parade photographs. So hup! And “onward, through the fog” and the rest of that stirring fluff.

Now, now.

We'll settle out.

Later. I take it back about it not being as cool as it was yesterday, it feels downright cold right now, learning this as I was heading out to pick up that prescription and go by the ATM wearing a sweater and a winter coat. Turned around when I got to the stop and returned to the apartment to turn on the heat and continue on the web pages for artandlife. Winter arrives in the spring.

Finally did get out the door again with the camera to take the usual set of apartment house construction site pictures, not much to show, but a picture or two up on the backside of the site to note there were workers present, even though everything they're doing seems to be happening inside. No thought to catch the bus downtown, we'll take care of that tomorrow. Sitting here with the heat on again thawing out.

Evening. Some time on the tablet, some time on the computer. Still cold, so wearing a sweater and a pullover here inside with the occasional blast of hot air from the living room heater. I wondered briefly if I could be coming down with a cold, although there are no other symptoms. We'll know by tomorrow.

The photo up top was taken at the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
