Saturday. Lights out not long after ten to get what I'm thinking was a somewhat, but not overly uneven night's sleep, awakening just before six feeling really good. Unusually good. Go figure. Up and out the door to walk to breakfast, the air cool, the sky clear with a much warmer day to come (so say the weather people).

Noted the gas price increase with a couple of pictures and then walked back home on the opposite side of Grand taking a picture of the farmers market as they were preparing to open and then on to the lake where quite a few people were setting up tents, tables, a band stand and such for what turns out to be indeed a fight hemophilia gathering. Didn't know they had such things. I obviously know nothing about hemophilia.

Are you considered someone who suffers from hemophilia because you take warfarin?

I have no idea, but we'll obviously walk over to take pictures and learn/see what we can learn/see.

The mood is certainly good, the head clear, all this after yesterday bitching about the aching sinus/upper palate thing. It's quiescent this morning. Still there, but way to the back, behaving itself. What meds I take, I take first thing in the mornings, so I've had my one budgeted dose of pain meds for the day, so they're active, but otherwise things are indeed much better than they've been recently.

So good.

Later. Walked over to the lake again just after noon to see what they were up to and discovered they were starting to take down the tents and pack up the various tables, grills and decorations. So, an hour and a half since I'd been by earlier and the entire event is run and done. So much for pictures.

Not much to say for the rest of the afternoon. Some television (more than usual) and some time doing the usual dinking around on the web. Oh, and avoiding doing the Latham Square web sections.

Evening. Ended up watching the last half of an N.C.I.S. New Orleans episode before heading to bed. This is what you do with the tag end of what has been a clear headed upbeat day? Hey?
