Degree

Thursday. Lights out before ten. I'm pretty sure. Not overly late anyway. Awoke at five, blinked, awoke again at six-ten to get up on another they're saying is going to be a nice, albeit somewhat cooler, day. Into the seventies rather than the eighties. I can deal with that.

Out the door to walk to breakfast, noting the newly updated Grand Lake theater marquee, always interesting to see. Arrived before seven, the restaurant open and so settled in with the papers to see what's been happening around the world before giving up and fleeing to the comics sections for relief.

Had the two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up by eight-forty to set out for home under a now bright sun. Passed by two Bird scooters on the way, only noting when I looked at the photographs later on the screen, that they were leaning against, but also locked to the bicycle stand by users who wanted them to still be there when they returned. I suspect the scooter companies won't be happy if this becomes common as (I'm assuming) it will result in less profitable usage of their machines.

Home to take the selfie and post yesterday's entry, finishing up by ten-thirty. I need to charge the car battery before it dies. Been a while since the last recharge. Thoughts to put if off until tomorrow.

Later. The car battery is charging. It was low, no so low that it might not have started Sunday when I'll drive to breakfast, but still time for a charge. So good. It will be finished tomorrow afternoon.

The sinus-upper palate ache has been acting up (nothing new in that I'm afraid) and so a break to walk up the street to take another picture of the construction site. No changes I can see, people working inside the building, but at least it got me out the door albeit underlining the head in the bubble business and sinus thing. I keep saying it gets better in the evenings. Maybe it feels better after sloughing off for an entire afternoon and is otherwise unchanged.

Or bats have taken over in your belfry.

Evening. Nothing on television, not much on the tablet and so to bed by nine, lights out by nine-thirty. Made is a point to remember that, lights out at nine-thirty, after not being able to remember when it was yesterday morning. The memory is indeed eroding, but not to that degree.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 Cherry Blossom Festival Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
