Followed

Monday. To sleep around eleven if I'm remembering correctly, to awaken then at five-thirty, blink and awaken again at a quarter to seven, getting up and driving to breakfast after looking at the clouds in the distance and thinking it might rain by the time I finished after nine. No danger of that, it didn't rain, but drove, parked, entered the dark dining area and turned on the lights to settle in with the papers. So far, so good. The brain a little fuzzy, but otherwise feeling fine.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee this time, finishing up around nine-thirty and heading out the door in a fog as I forgot to take the usual snapshots of the gas station sign and the sidewalk, remembering as I got into the car. Just totally spaced out and forgot. Walked back to take the pictures and then drove home, taking the selfie in the lobby and settling in here at the computer to finish and post yesterday's screed. After eleven when I'd finished, thinking I really do by now need to get in some walking, but not today, then if it isn't raining, in the morning.

Later. Started raining later in the afternoon and so spent a couple of hours watching this and that on the tablet until the television news started at two. Two hours later it was back to the tablet. Some thoughts and feelings, mostly feelings, of being isolated here inside. Just now and again, but real.

Evening. Stayed up to watch Father Brown at eight. Surprised myself, actually watched it (mostly watched it) all the way through. Skipped watching the Frankie Drake Mysteries that followed.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco Saint Stupid's Day Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
