Mend

Friday. A miserable time getting to sleep last night to the point I was wondering if I was experiencing a reaction to Wednesday's COVID shot. They talk about fatigue, are there any instances reported that it can keep you awake all through the next night? No mention of it when I checked the web. Still, awoke at ten minutes to six and went through the usual routine, heading out to walk to breakfast feeling a little tired, but not nearly as tired as I was thinking I might after last night. The patio tables were in place and so settled in with the papers.

Ordered the ground beef patty, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up early and setting out for home. They're saying a high of sixty-five degrees later. Still reasonably clear headed and not unduly tired so maybe I got more sleep than I thought.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in here at the computer to start all this.

Later. Took an hour's nap just after noon, getting up to listen to the two o'clock DW News when I awoke. Frittered away the rest of the day on the tablet and avoiding television.

Evening. The NPR radio stations seem to have wrapped up their fund raising some time ago, although the PBS television stations are still raising money with their various oldies concert shows, none of which unfortunately are of interest.

I did watch the beginning of the Inspector Morse episode, one I'd seen before and vaguely remembered who'd done the evil deed, so bailed after fifteen minutes and headed for bed. Let's hope this night makes up for last night and whatever reactions to the shot will be spent. Lights out by ten, the shoulder pretty much on the mend.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco Saint Stupid's Day Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
