Business

Saturday. A second morning in a row to awaken with the alarm at six-thirty, having gotten to sleep last night not long after ten. Still felt tired, though, but up to drive to breakfast, park by the 7-11 and enter the restaurant dining room, the outside patio tables all set up with new tables and chairs made of metal rather than plastic. Went out and sat in the usual place at the new table, decided it was too cold and dim to be sitting outside and so reentered the dining room, sat at the usual table and continued with the papers. Still tired.

The Eggs Benedict, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee because that's all I could think to order, the weight on the scale this morning starting to behave, finishing up around nine after a much needed trip to the bathroom, still feeling tired, but better. Off to the car to drive straight home, take the selfie and settle in at the computer, again tired and wanting to lie down rather than start on any of this. After eight hours of sleep last night.

Later. Really tired. An hour or so nap in the early afternoon which didn't seem to do all that much good and so overly, more than a little unsettlingly tired through the entire afternoon.

Evening. Watched the last half hour of Philly D.A. on PBS. Interesting, wish I'd watched it from the beginning, but again, still tired, albeit somewhat less so than earlier. Started watching the F.B.I. episode on CBS, but bailed after twenty or so minutes to see if I couldn't get to sleep early and see if another good night's sleep would make a difference in this tiredness business.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco March For Science with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
