Mountains Indeed
Thursday. I was complaining about my lack of photographs, wishing there were more fairs and festivals about the area, so I went online and found a local festival for every weekend coming up this month, not to mention a week long county fair (now that I'm free during the week). OK. Progress. Maybe we'll ramp it up and get some decent pictures out of this new not so tired retired me. Deedle-dee-dee.
These last few days have been qualitatively different. I'm feeling better. Yes, the sinus-head thing is still present, but there has been a change in outlook, almost as if I'd gone on some wonderful new med (we live, after all, in the day of the Pill). Maybe retirement can be considered a med (please doctor, prescribe this new retirement drug for me in a never ending 90-day supply and I'll do whatever you desire, OK?). Well, within reason.
Still, with all this newly arrived energy, you seem to be sitting at the computer playing Freecell this morning instead of out climbing one of the local mountains with a camera strap between your teeth.
Mountains? You've misinterpreted me, good sir. What I'm suggesting is between games I look out over the living room and entertain thoughts of fixing this or cleaning that. There's a certain high associated with such thinking. Mountains indeed.
