I Hope

Wednesday. A decent night's sleep to awaken ten minutes before the alarm, thinking ‘my but I'm tired’, to have the feeling disappear in the ten minutes it took to shave. A walk to breakfast under clear skies and what looks to become another overly warm day. OK, not bad, still the same old me, we'll see what kind of bitching we can get into by noon and write down for all the world to see.

We are having second thoughts about yesterday's entry?

We are always having second thoughts about yesterday's entry. This is a walking in the dark enterprise, no sign posts to guide us and second thoughts are part of the journey.

Onward.

Through the fog!

Later. Clear skies, not too warm, so a bus downtown in a long sleeved shirt (over a t-shirt) to the Latham Square stop to take the usual set of pictures, people working on site when I arrived just before noon. Over then to the City Center where I knew there'd be a Wednesday at noon band playing and I was up for lunch.

A chicken Caesar salad and coffee at a table in the shade in front of the bagel shop to take a couple of pictures of the crowd and the band when I'd finished. A bus then to the apartment house construction site. No thoughts of skipping any of today's picture taking, the head is clear and the day has started well. Except, by the time I got home, it was too warm to be in the direct sun in a long sleeved shirt. The timing for other than those last ten minutes of the trip wasn't bad.

We'll process the pictures and then we'll maybe (I stress the maybe) take a look at putting together a section of apartment house pictures. It's been long enough I can't remember how long ago it was that I stopped.

Life will not end if you continue to delay and, from looking at them, there's not much Art there that will come to harm.

I know, I know.

Later still. It does take time to process the photographs, two hours or so for the thirty I managed this afternoon. I seem to be OK with the task, at least I get lost in the processing and don't think to stop. Less so putting together sections for the web. I did bring the Latham Square sites up to date after processing today's photographs (another hour there) and that one section was more than enough for the day. Three months though behind on the apartment house sections. That's going to be a task.

Evening. Another evening bereft of television. Such is life. More time on the tablet and then lights out and sleep. One hopes. I hope.

The photo up top was taken Sunday at the ‘Vigil for Mike Brown and All Our Fallen’ with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
