Had Mine

Wednesday. Up a couple of times to take a leak last night to finally awaken at quarter to six feeling grumpy. Grumpy in “first thing in the morning” grumpy that didn't last, but appropriate, I suppose, on an overcast middle of the week morning.

Anyway, took my time shaving and getting ready to head to breakfast, the attitude better by the time I was out and walking. And yes, had the avocado with cheese (not very much Swiss cheese food cheese) omelet this time. Remembered yesterday's memory problem.

A haircut appointment later at eleven and so out the door pretty soon (half an hour). Maybe getting a haircut every four weeks is a bit too often. We'll look at Latham Square to see how it's doing, maybe shoot a picture if there aren't any work trucks or workers still tying down unfinished tasks after all this time.

Later. The bus schedules have changed (three buses an hour instead of two for my downtown bus) and so off to Latham Square to find it free of workmen/women, parked trucks and blocked lanes. Looked good. Took some pictures before walking to the stylist's shop in the lower City Center, managing to miss a return bus by thirty seconds when we were done.

Still, nice day, good temperature to be out in a long sleeved shirt and so a walk up Broadway on by the Paramount theater to the ATM and then the next bus at Grand. Home by noon. The sinus-upper palate has been doing its routine, but otherwise the head is clear and the attitude reasonably good.

Evening. Watched Democracy Now, took a second dose of the pain meds for the sinus-upper palate thing that's been getting worse. Seems to had some effect after about an hour, but again, who knows? Maybe it took care of itself. I'm believing it does work to some degree and so keep taking it.

To bed early, but after making what I think is a real decision on a project that starts tomorrow. All the old photography magazines and most of the books are going to be gotten rid of, starting in the morning. After I start the laundry. How many times have I said something like this? Sometimes you have an epiphany after much weaving and dodging and I tomorrow will show if I've had mine.

The photo up top was taken Saturday at the San Francisco Pistahan Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
