Fifties

Tuesday. Lights out by ten to then awaken but once just briefly during the night and then awaken ready for the morning at ten to six. Early, but not too early to slow down the getting up routine and head out walking (with all three papers in tow) to breakfast at the usual time. So good, none of this awake for half the night stuff.

Had the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, adding the toast as I was hungry and a pound under the target on the scale this morning when I got up.

The usual overcast, although it looks as if it will break up sooner than later, the usual pictures walking home. No complaints, took the pictures without a second thought. The day has started, we'll not say more as we have no idea what's in store.

If anything.

Exactly.

Later. Some sporadic appearances of the sun through the later afternoon, not that it made any difference, as I spent the time finishing up a sixteen-episode detective series on the tablet. Up to check out the BBC news on television at two-thirty, slipping in a quick trip to the 7-11 look-alike to pick up an ice cream bar and a package of “Chipotle” peanuts. They say they're good for you, peanuts. It was either that or a grilled cheese sandwich and grilled cheese wasn't calling out for my company.

Evening. And so another day with Netflix and Prime on the tablet. Most times I show a remaining charge on the tablet in the ninety percent range when I've finished for the day, but every now and then get really into it and show a remaining charge in the fifties. Today if was the fifties.

The photo up top was taken at the Pistahan Festival Sunday in San Francisco with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
