Sleep

Wednesday. Lights out early enough I seem to recall to then awaken like a shot at six, just opened my eyes wide and there I was (blurry eyed) right after being sound asleep.

So?

Waking up is usually a little less abrupt. Anyway, listened to Democracy Now! as I was getting ready to set out, the sky overcast and a little cool, what I thought might be a hint of smoke in the air, but couldn't be sure. Arrived to find the restaurant open and ordered the oatmeal, toast and coffee for breakfast, whatever elections races I might have been interested in knowing the outcomes of had completed their counting well after the various papers’ deadlines. What the hell, it was what I expected and so finished eating and reading well before nine.

The gas prices had gone up four cents a gallon for regular and so took the usual pictures to then set out home. An out of focus shot of three Bird scooter handlebars to show the lights. I seem more interested in these things than you'd think for someone who never plans to use them. Still overcast all the way home, but this time I put together the gumption to start the laundry, a task that took of all of ten minutes.

Oh, and I did post the Art & Soul photographs to artandlife yesterday afternoon and so they're up and done. Maybe look at the May Day photographs later today? The photos themselves have been processed, I've just not touched them in forever? Maybe?

Later. Laundry done, folded and hung by early afternoon to then take a bath, listening to the PBS News Hour on the radio in the tub. Nice to have newly laundered towels.

Evening. And so the day. Nothing on television, nothing I really wanted to continue watching on the tablet and so lights out to listen to the radio for a while before getting to sleep.
