Pieces

Wednesday. Seems to have been a decent night's sleep, although awakening at a quarter to six, that could have been later, but got up to take the blood pressure - 96/73 - before lying down again and listening to the radio before finally getting up and preparing to set out at six forty-five. Takes ten minutes to walk to the restaurant.

Clear skies, although the eyes were watering. Took pictures of two groups of scooters that had been set out ready for the day just because they were there, I suspect, to arrive at the restaurant to find it open. Good.

The French toast with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast over the papers, finishing up early at twenty after eight and so back to the apartment. Documented the fact the gas station's pricing was blank, not that the prices themselves had changed. Didn't bother to check.

Lots of scooters were now scattered about on the sidewalk where people who'd been using them had left them since I'd walked in and so more pictures than usual along with the obligatory shot of a flower below the Lakeshore school. No watering eyes, at least.

Later. Same old feeling tired as the morning progressed, but managed to put it together to catch a bus just after noon to Broadway and then walk on to the lab for a blood thinner Protime test, taking a few pictures of the apartment house construction site at 2302 Valdez and 2330 Webster on Valdez and then a walk around to take a couple more of 2330 Webster off Webster. On then to the lab, stopping to take pictures of the construction site there, arriving well before one when the lab opened and so waited by having lunch at the café in the building.

Evening. I was going to say another slow fuzzy headed day, but the truth is I pretty much shut down after returning from the lab and zoned out for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Didn't process the pictures I'd taken at the various construction sites, not that the world will end without them. Nothing out of line with the blood pressure, but this day is shot and so to bed early, we'll see if we can't pick up (some of) the pieces in the morning.

At the Oakland Chinatown StreetFest taken with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
