Sleep

Tuesday. To sleep with the fan on at the base of the bed around ten, this even after having had the balcony glass door and bedroom windows open for an hour to let the apartment cool off. Warm, in other words. Not over the top, but less than comfortable.

Awoke at ten minutes to six to get up and head out walking to breakfast under clear skies, stopping to ask a worker who was standing in the sidewalk construction site beside the parking lot what they were building. Turns out the parking lot owners were going to stop them from putting their trash containers out at a corner of their lot and so this was where they were now going to put them. Hmm.

On to the restaurant, remembering to snap a picture of the Ford Go-Bike rental unit to document there were a dozen bikes at ten minutes to seven. There were five when I returned when walking home at eight-thirty, so people do rent them.

Arrived to find the restaurant open and so ordered the French toast with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up by eight-thirty to then walk home snapping another shot of the trash I'd passed yesterday on the sidewalk, another flower and another bicycle rider under the 580 Overpass. Life in the fast lane here on what's going to be a warm Tuesday.

Another picture of the soon to be trash can storage room, the selfie in the lobby and now home to futz with this. Feel pretty good, the head clear so far, we'll still probably stay inside on what they're saying will be another overly warm spare the air day in Oakland.

Later. Definitely warm and so processed pictures, took a bath, watched one or two things on the tablet and listened to the news starting at three to fritter away another afternoon.

Evening. The Weather Underground web site is saying it's still eighty degrees at five-thirty here in my section of Oakland. Nothing on television and so to bed at eight to watch a marginal series on the tablet until not long after nine when it was lights out, time to go to sleep.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
