Or Something
Yes, there are lights. Two of them, light aluminum cases that from a distance look like molded grey plastic, many connectors, switches and buttons. Two tripods, two umbrellas, one white, one black with white lining. Cables. A thin manual. A color catalog filled with add on items ranging from a small radio gizmo to a tripod mounted wind machine to muss, one assumes, a model's hair. I have people who have said they want portraits. Christmas has arrived.

I must admit I feel pretty good. Tomorrow is a half day at our office, a Christmas party that starts at noon and most people drop by (it's held across the street), have a drink, eat lunch (if they're gung ho) and split. I have a doctor's appointment at three then I'm heading over to San Francisco on BART to meet friends and whoop it up. Take a camera and shoot it up. Whoop it up and shoot it up. Or something.

The photograph was taken at the San Francisco Gay Pride parade with a Nikon F5 and 135mm f 2.0 Nikon (Nikkor) lens on Kodak TMAX 400.
