True Or Not
An honest to god Friday, but an oh so slow Friday at work after the two day Christmas holiday and I practically feel like a rested person with ambition and gumption and stuff. I'm lying, but I'm only sort of lying, white lying and I think that's OK. A lie and a wink. Tomorrow, if it doesn't rain and the sun shines as it did today, I will find a way to shoot a picture. A couple of pictures. Dig out the big artillery and rip through a roll.

Already we know you're bullshitting us.

Yeah, I do that, but it is a good day and you never know, I might shoot pictures tomorrow. Work was hopeless, but what else is new? Eighty percent of the office was smart enough to take the day off, but it isn't so bad just puttering around putting the desk in order and taking a long lunch (at PCB), a Guinness and a hot turkey plate. They make a good hot turkey plate and a Guinness, just one, is just about right.

The tag end of the year, time for introspection and thoughts of what to do to make the next one better. (Please!) I'm sure I'll think about it here in great horrible detail and drive any remaining readers to more pleasant pursuits. I may drive myself to more pleasant pursuits. I'm in a good mood for all my carping - gallows humor here in Oakland - but really, a better day is coming and I'm ready, true or not.

The photograph was taken at the San Francisco Gay Pride parade with a Nikon F5 and 135mm f 2.0 Nikon (Nikkor) lens on Kodak TMAX 400.
