A photo session in Emeryville

December 12th, 2005

Interesting
Monday. Yes, the lady is wearing what is a low cut gown, at least from this angle, and that can be distracting, but look at those eyes. Wonderful eyes. I'm wondering if I shouldn't do about a berzillion closeups of her eyes to see what I might find, what they might reveal with time and attention. Then again, what do I know? It's Monday after a good not too weird weekend, here in Oakland. There's another photograph, by the way, behind the logo.

I had half a dozen phone messages on my answering machine when I returned home this afternoon. It seems someone, using my name, requested quotes to refinance my apartment building last night on the web. I don't own my apartment building. I don't own any real estate whatsoever. I wonder if I pissed someone off? Someone who disliked one of my entries? Interesting.

The photograph was taken at a studio session in Emeryville with a Nikon D2x mounted with a 17-55mm f 2.8 Nikkor lens at 1/125th second, f 8.0 and ISO 100.
