Back Up To Speed
Saturday. The computer is still in the shop and they're saying they're still working on it, but it seems the two large hard drives have lost their partition tables. Which is not good. Both of them at the same time. Doesn't make sense, but we'll see. Both at the same time. My, my.
Anyway, a long day today. It didn't rain during the Holiday Parade, but they'd canceled participation by the big helium filled cartoon character balloons and cut way back on the number of participants given the weather.
Made sense, I can't see using the big helium balloons in a high wind and rain. The wind, more than the rain, they're hard enough to manage as it is.
So, not much of a crowd and, I suspect, not all that many pictures of note, although I took quite a few. Not the opportunities one of these parades usually offers, not the number of faces to be photographed. So we're on parade light today.
More time tomorrow, we'll do what we can do to bring this back up to speed.
