Earlier
Tuesday. To bed and to sleep early to awaken at five-thirty and delay getting up until six. We like to get up at six. Cold out there walking to breakfast. The same tent under the 580 overpass, but the two people, one who'd been sleeping in front of a store on the sidewalk in a sleeping bag and the second sleeping in the bus stop shelter, bundled up in a wheel chair yesterday, were no longer there.
Didn't finish the omelet I'd ordered for breakfast. Nothing wrong with it, just feeling it was too much to eat after these last two days pigging out and then getting the results on the scale this morning.
The same walk home, taking the same pictures, the sun now showing itself over the horizon and feeling better once I'd gotten back inside the apartment and had time to warm up. Looks like a decent day ahead. I need to pick up a Christmas card later and there's a delivery due. Lots of packages arriving here lately in the building, must be Christmas pretty soon.
Later. A walk to the card shop across Grand from the Lakeshore ATM and then back to the apartment by way of the lake, all bundled up wearing everything in the closet. Bright sun and cold, but comfortable walking during the noon hour.
The package had arrived before setting out and so the tasks of the day are done. At one.
Later still. Television and news, the usual menu on any given afternoon. Still eating more than usual, but this is common after a supermarket visit. Need to develop a better selection technique in my supermarket visits, stay away from the sharp cheddar cheese, sake and extra crunchy peanut butter. Evil stuff, that peanut butter.
Evening. So much for the day. Some Democracy Now!, some Charlie Rose, some time on the tablet and then to bed. Earlier and earlier to bed.
