Less Dizzy Head
Wednesday. I've been putting stuff up on the company internal web site this last week, something I haven't had the time or ambition to do in a long time (it seems like years because it has). So that's good. We can start with good. Sometimes.

Piss and moan, piss and moan.

Certainly not. I'm taking a four day weekend around my birthday coming up in March and test driving some cars. The Element, the Scion (the "B" boxy one), the Subaru Forester and maybe a Golf.

A Golf?

Well, I've seen a couple recently with nice lines. I like nice lines. I'll skip the Jaguar. I've owned a Jaguar, it was fun, but that was another me appropriate for another time. MSW went out and bought a BMW. You don't know MSW, but we've been trading the occasional email, she avoiding buying a car, me avoiding buying a car, but now buying a BMW she's put it "in my court". And I do want to get off the dime, yes I do; I want to get out of town, explore the world and shoot clever pictures. Or is that clear pictures? Pictures in focus?

Piss and moan, piss and moan.

Even I become tired of piss and moan, my man, even I.

Thursday. Another procrastinator at the office picked up a Toyota Camry last week. She claims she's been fighting the urge now for over a year, but the old car died and there was no longer a way to avoid it. And she's happy. And she likes it. No buyer's remorse. Yes, yes, we could all be laid off tomorrow, but what the hell, sign the check, pop the clutch, head for the border. The trials and tribulations of an idle man with too much to eat, plenty of sleep, clothes on his back but not a thought (in his head). His less dizzy head.

The photograph was taken at the San Francisco Cherry Blossom parade with a Nikon F5 and a 135mm f2.0 Nikkor (Nikon) lens on TMax 400.
