Turned A Corner
Monday. Rain this morning, some progress on this drought from the look of it, breakfast at the usual place and then a drive to the Honda dealer for an oil change using the time when they were working on the car to walk up to the hospital and have my monthly blood test. So far, so good. Back to the apartment to take care of other much delayed tasks, maybe I'll make some progress this week.

You've said that before.

That's why I left out mentioning some novel thoughts I had walking to the hospital and then around the area past a building advertising personal trainers. The idea of signing up for a personal trainer for me is totally bizarre and, although I'm into photographing the occasional bizarre subject or situation, I'm not into doing bizarre, you understand, unless it has to do with coconut oil and ladies with strong fingers.

You wish.

Later. I actually went through the camera stuff and discovered, in the process, how really far out of whack I'd let it become. Stupid, stupid. Still, it's back on track. I have other things to take care of here in Oakland. Maybe I've turned a corner.

The photograph was taken last year at Lake Merritt in Oakland a Nikon D2X mounted with a 17 - 55mm f 2.8 Nikkor DX lens at 1/1500th second, f 2.8, ISO 100.
