About That
Sunday. To bed early and to sleep reasonably early after watching one or two things on the tablet, awake at six without the alarm. Interesting how close to six the body will awake when it's not too tired. The internal clock seems to keep good time.
Anyway, a little slow in getting up, but out the door to breakfast with the papers to arrive at the usual time, breakfast and then a walk across the street to document the overnight four cent rise in the price of regular. Keeps going up, it does. Not too much of a surprise.
After yesterday's outing I don't think I'll have the energy to go over to photograph the Chinese New Year Flower Festival in San Francisco. Can't be sure, it's still early, but two days in a row out running around is more than I like to think about. Slower as we get older. Or lazier. Either way, at least for now, we're not going anywhere other than the bedroom and a nap.
Later. A long nap, up to futz about on the computer, another lie down on the bed to listen to the radio, a walk over to the 7-11 look-alike at noon for an ice cream bar because that was the only way I could talk myself out of the apartment. Lots of people out on a day into the low seventies, but I still headed right back to the apartment.
I've often wondered if the weather is increasing the pollen count and adding to the sinus issues. Causing the nose to run more often than it's ever done, usually after eating, none of it good for the damaged tissues. So a dose of the pain meds to see if they'll help. Strange days. Well, they've always been strange, but these days we seem to have more time to throw caution to the wind and notice.
Evening. Well, OK, a slow day, nothing on television other than the public stations raising money and the various versions of CSI this and CSI that running non stop on some of the others. Which I can't hack. And so to bed to watch whatever I may find on the tablet. Tomorrow is another holiday. Totally forgot about that.
