It Does

Sunday. To bed early, really early, to awaken before six, get up and get ready to drive to breakfast, looking forward to driving until I turned the key and the battery announced in no uncertain terms it was dead. Something I've been expecting, almost set the battery up for a charge last week knowing how little I'd been driving.

OK, no problem, feeling OK, a walk to breakfast to find the restaurant hadn't opened yet and waited twenty minutes standing around outside. Cold outside. A good start and now the morning was sputtering. Don't want to experience another yesterday, definitely don't want to write about another one today.

Breakfast and a bus back home. Felt a little wobbly for any walking and waited on the bus, once home it was, as yesterday, another series of naps. A walk to the 7-11 look-alike late in the morning for an ice cream bar, floating in a bubble. We have a week for our take no pain meds test, let's let the week go by and then, if this continues, we'll freak out. Otherwise take these days and hours one nap at a time.

Later. Been blowing my nose like an out of control fog horn since awakening this morning. Don't feel ill, but any food, any heat, any pretty much anything brings on a runny nose. Eating and drinking have caused this in the past, but this is way over the top.

And we are...?

Doing about the same. Some work on the photographs in between naps, naps not resulting in sleep (but for one). Weird.

Evening. Watched an older Elementary from an earlier series I hadn't liked much at the time, but it seems to have kept my interest this evening. The day has continued to be a long series of naps without any real sleep and so we'll get to bed early again and see if tomorrow clears up this crap. I doodle-dee-do hope it does.

The photo up top was taken yesterday at the downtown Oakland March for Bernie 2 with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
