Enough

Wednesday. Lights out before ten to awaken at six-twenty and get up feeling reasonably whole, walking to breakfast on this overcast morning. They're saying rain this evening through the morning, another atmospheric river of rain, but not today. Let's hope. Nice sliver of sky, though, over the KFC across from Splash Pad Park.

Had the chicken apple sausage again for breakfast, although it didn't sit all that well. Wondered about that as I was walking home (another day like yesterday, just starting a little differently?), but that seems to have cleared up after debating and then taking a dose of the pain meds. Making the sinuses feel better will spill over and tamp down the general feeling of malaise? Might. You try stuff now and again.

Not sure what's on for the day. Nothing on the calendar. News programs, probably, and not much else.

A walk?

Time will, but I won't tell.

Later. Another hour's plus nap, after finishing the morning routine, awakening, as yesterday, at noon feeling better than I did yesterday.

Still overcast and so watching Law & Order on television thinking of various ways to get in a walk. It's more a matter of just getting out the door as once the air kicks in I'm off. Doesn't mean a long walk, but off on a walk, if only over to the lake. But how to get in that first step?

Later still. The best I could come up with was a walk to the morning restaurant to have a grilled cheese sandwich, but settled for a bun and coffee when told the kitchen was closed. OK, at least the walk didn't have the woozy quality I described yesterday. The sinuses are still a bit cranky, but took a second dose of the pain meds in hopes it would help. Might, but again, no real way to tell if it turned out to be the meds or the time passing and they quieted down by themselves.

Managed not to take a single picture, managed to miss the first fifteen minutes of the News Hour, but it runs again a couple of more times on the two other PBS channels right after.

Evening. A decent evening, at least better than the last couple of evenings. If memory serves. Stayed up to at least check who was being interviewed on Charlie Rose, Rose himself recovering from a heart operation, and so the program has been running with guest conductors. Hosts.

A Mainstream Media by the numbers sort of a program, our Mr. Rose, but he occasionally comes through with an interview that proves interesting. I'm not into the show business and sports personality interviews he often runs and government leaders almost invariably repeat the current line, but sometimes he'll come up with someone with a view that piques my interest. So I check.

S0?

Watched the first interview with three interesting foreign policy wonks who discussed cyber attacks in this new Age of Trump, but the one was enough.

The photo up top was taken Saturday at the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
