When

Wednesday. To sleep reasonably early to awaken then at five-thirty to turn the radio on down low, but then zone out to be awakened by the alarm. A good night's sleep, in other words. Up to walk to breakfast on another cold morning under clear skies, the eyes watering, arriving before seven to find the restaurant open and people inside. Good. Settled in at the table and started on the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet with “a little” cheese this time, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the cheese not adding anything to the taste and so into the papers to finish up by a quarter to nine and set out for home, a picture of one of the planter flowers again, a bicycle rider at the Grand Lake theater light, another under the 580 Overpass and of a flier taped to the bus stop. A Prince celebration of some sort in Oakland in June. Four months from now. Wonder what that's about.

Home to take the selfie and to settle in with yesterday's entry that had been abandoned yesterday by early afternoon. Not unusual, unfortunately. Patched it together and posted before starting on this morning's pictures and writing here. Takes about an hour or so and suddenly it's around eleven and thoughts of a nap intrude.

Later. A nap, more time on the tablet and listening to a wrap up of the Impeachment Trial before settling down to listen to the mid-afternoon PBS Newshour. Liked the nap. Seemed to get the day going again.

Discovered there was a protest planned in front of the Grand Lake theater at five-thirty and so got it together, tired or not, to walk to the theater not long after five to take not very many pictures of not all that many people before returning home, stopping by the café near the fitness club to pick up a bagel with cream cheese for dinner. Don't do that very often, but hungry and tired. Seemed right.

Evening. I'm not sure it was the creamed cheese with that bagel, I've been feeling tired all day, but some of the symptoms associated with (I guess) from eating cheese, similar to some of the ocular migraine symptoms came on and so to bed after eight to go right to sleep. The only advantage these symptoms have is it's quite easy to go to sleep, doesn't matter when.

The photo up top was taken at the January 2017 Oakland Women's March with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
