Night
Sunday To sleep after midnight to awaken at six to listen to CounterSpin followed by TUC Radio before getting up and driving to breakfast, entering the dining area to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. Whatever the sleep last night, felt reasonably whole and so no complaints. Until later.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up after nine to set out for the car, all of the outside patio tables filled with diners as I was leaving giving me hope of keeping the café in business, driving straight home to take the selfie and then settle in at the computer and put together all this.
Later. Watched Waking The Dead on Britbox through most of the first part of the afternoon before dialing into the game ten minutes before it started. I find the hoo-rah-rah! aspects of pregame shows difficult to appreciate. Not sure who I favored, the old master or the young master, but well worth watching. Mostly. I found I was rooting for whatever team was behind as the game started and then Tampa Bay pretty much buried the Chiefs after the first quarter.
Evening. Watched The Equalizer that followed the game on CBS. Not bad, not great, but something to keep me from going to bed too early (it started around seven-thirty). I was thinking I should be more tired or fried or whatever after not getting enough sleep last night, so to bed before nine, lights out not long after. Let's see how it goes this night.
