Nine

Sunday. To sleep early enough last night, awakening very briefly at five and then with the alarm at six-thirty, so a decent (at least in length) night's sleep to get up and take the blood pressure, find it higher than it's been in the mornings and so took the blood pressure med. OK, listened to the news until seven, got up and drove to breakfast, parking in front of the restaurant, entered the enclosed dining area, turned on the lights and settled in at my table with the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing just before nine to head back to the car and drive home wondering if I had a race to the bathroom in store, but arrived, took the selfie in the lobby and made the bathroom just in time.

Took the blood pressure again, curious as to what it would look like having taken the med before breakfast and found it to be very low, the last series of readings in the eighties over the high fifties. Weird. We'll see what it does later throughout the day.

Sat down at the computer, finished and posted yesterday's entry, processed the morning pictures and started here around ten-thirty. I'd been thinking of driving to the storage locker to see what I could save later this afternoon, but decided yesterday it would be better to visit when someone was on site in their office, maybe they could recommend people I could hire to move whatever I might want to keep to the apartment for the movers to box up for transportation with the rest of my crap belongings.

I don't receive the World Series channel here at the apartment anymore, so we'll see what progress we might make with the packing, maybe look at what's in the storage locker above my parking slot in the garage. This damned moving day is getting closer.

Later. Packed more boxes. Figured out how to wrap the individual pieces and make them fit together reasonably protected. They just have to be moved into a truck and then removed from the truck, they're not going to be bouncing around in UPS or FedEx trucks in however they might handle them. So good. Otherwise finished a Britbox series that was puzzling enough to keep me watching and took blood pressure readings, all of which behaved themselves.

Evening. The car goes into the shop for servicing tomorrow morning in preparation for the drive to Oregon, so we'll drive there directly from breakfast. Watched the first twenty minutes or so of Andrea Bocelli Live in Central Park on PBS at seven-thirty before bailing and heading to bed, lights out by nine.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 San Francisco J-Pop Festival with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
