For Years
Saturday. I have a wedding to shoot this afternoon, something I'd rather not have done with the dregs of this cold still hanging on (I hope the cough behaves during the ceremony), but I committed to it two months ago. I'm the backup photographer, shooting exactly what I want to shoot - no stress, no bother - doing this for a friend at the company. Still, at whatever level, he's counting on me to deliver and I'll deliver. The batteries are charged, the new camera bag is packed and I am in so-so condition. I've done good work in so-so condition. I'm not sure I've been in anything other than so-so condition now for years.
