What It Means
Monday. A nap at four yesterday afternoon after all the naps I'd taken earlier in the day, sleeping until after six when I awakened at the tail end of an ocular event (the world arranged in a very different way) to turn off whatever lights remained on in the living room and then going back to sleep for the rest of the night, getting up this morning with the alarm.

I have no idea of the what or why that happened. Still, up and out the door to breakfast on a day they're saying is going to get into the high sixties, plenty of sun and no rain now for the rest of the month, sitting here now in what I'm thinking is reasonable condition, although a brief lie down on the bed before a walk or a start on the guitar could well be in order. If I'm able.

No guitar yesterday so we need to prepare today for tomorrow's lesson. We'll see soon enough if yesterday's little adventure portends anything other than a one off, something to keep you aware and on your toes.

Or flat on your back.

Who knows?

Later. Another short walk over to the lake after nine to take one or two pictures, seemingly still early for both birds and people. Back to take another nap, the nap lasting until afternoon. Feel better now that it's afternoon, though. We'll see what these guitars sound like after their day of rest. Mumble.

Later still. Another nap, up to have a late lunch/early dinner feeling better. Hmm. Started with the guitar, although I'm not showing much enthusiasm. Still, a start, we'll continue. Haven't had anything like this in a while, hope (repeat, repeat) it doesn't start to show up more often. I have no idea other than we're heading into new territory and all the stories we've heard and observed don't really tell us if we're on a known track or experimenting with our own interpretation.

Evening. Nothing much I want to watch, Poirot isn't going to cut it (a bit too precious), nothing new I'm afraid in that. Scott & Bailey later starting at close to ten, which would mean getting to bed at close to eleven. Which means.... Well, we know what it means.

The photo up top was taken today along Lake Merritt with a Nikon D4 mounted with an 80-400mm f/4.5 - 5.6 G Nikkor lens.
