Getting Smarter
Thursday. And so up with the alarm and out the door feeling pretty good. Don't remember having trouble sleeping last night - always good to not remember, gives you confidence it might actually be true - and so off to breakfast and back on another morning in Oakland.
Posted yesterday's entry quite late after wrestling with it, giving up to lie down on the bed and listen to Democracy Now on the radio for an hour and then getting up again to finish it. Babble, babble. Ah, well. The days and the weather remain cloudy.
Later. Another slow day that went by without doing much other than walking over to the construction site and taking a few pictures. A walk later to the 7-11 look-alike for an ice cream bar and a package of peanuts, eating the ice cream bar on the way home, as usual, getting into the peanuts as soon as I sat down at the computer.
Not sure if this is now our daily routine or if things will change with, say, a change in the weather, the coming of spring or summer. We're slow, we're often tired and we're not getting outside the apartment nearly as much as we've done in the past.
Are you worried?
No, but I'm watching. Doesn't seem to be getting better, hard to say on any given day it's getting worse, although in looking back the direction seems obvious. Low level depression? Not enough green leafy things in the diet?
Evening. There's a Midsomer Murders, two episodes, starting at eight which I suspect I'll skip. For whatever reason I'm not doing well with the Midsomer Murders series which, I suspect, I'd have watched with at least mild interest not all that many years back. Another sign we're slowing down or a sign we're getting smarter?
