Again

Saturday. To bed not long after eight and to sleep whenever it was, I'm thinking well before ten, to awaken then at quarter after six and get ready to head out to breakfast. Walking this time, even though I was carrying an updated set of pictures. Couldn't bring myself to use the pictures as an excuse for driving and they in no way got in the way while walking. Truth be told.

Another clear day, they're saying clear through this coming week. The Lunar New Year today, might lead to an opportunity for pictures out there somewhere. The head is clear and the attitude good, so maybe we'll venture forth and see. Could be.

Later. OK, a nice day, the sun shining and so I ended up watching a three part series on television until one, finally just getting up and getting out the door figuring I'd walk over by the lake and then on to the farmers market across from the Grand Lake theater, running into what must have been two hundred people carrying #BlackLivesMatter and similar signs. Where'd they come from? Still, pictures. One does not ask where unexpected gifts come from, one just starts shooting and figures out what had happened later.

Home to process the pictures and watch more television. Such has been our inventive Lunar New Year afternoon.

Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed early again.

The photo up top was taken at yesterday's Emergency #NoDAPL March in Oakland with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
