List

Saturday. Awoke earlier than I'd have liked at a quarter to six, but took my time again getting ready to drive to breakfast, the sky overcast when I first checked, but the rain literally just starting as I left the garage, coming down hard. The restaurant was dark, but the dining room area door open and so entered to turn on the lights and sit down to start reading the papers. The waitresses arrived later than usual, but I good start to the day, I'd say, rain or not.

Ordered the Eggs Benedict, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee. Tasted good. Finished reading by eight-thirty and so out the door to take the usual pictures when I've been driving. A very light rain while leaving for the car, raining harder on the drive home. Best I'd charged that battery.

Later. Stopped raining, the news people saying something like a tenth of an inch here in Oakland, a much larger storm due tomorrow. Doesn't matter, stayed inside all day long today, started a Netflix movie, listened to the news (off and on) back and forth with the Seattle/Dallas game into the evening, Seattle losing in the end by two points.

Evening. Stopped writing here in the later afternoon, filling in this evening section after breakfast in the morning, long enough to pretty much forget what it is I did this night. Lights out early, you can only watch so much on the tablet before you put it away for the day. I do anyway. Another day, another evening added now to the list.

The photograph was taken nine years ago at the Oakland City Center BART entrance with a Nikon D3s mounted with an 85mm f 1.4 Nikkor AF lens at f 5.6 at 1/160th second, ISO 200.
