Tuesday. Lights out by ten, but then it took quite a while to get to sleep, awakening at a quarter to five to get up and walk to breakfast under clear cold skies and arriving at the restaurant at five minutes before seven, the lights on and diners present. One, anyway.

Had the single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, sliced banana (they were out of the fruit cups) and coffee for breakfast, finishing up with the papers by eight forty-five and walking home, noting the newly painted barrels outside of a nearby Vietnamese restaurant. The owner has been wrestling with these for some time. Some high white clouds on the way home, another selfie not quite in focus again when I arrived at the apartment.

Need to go by the bank later and then at some point take another picture of the construction site up the street after hearing activity in the existing building while walking home this morning. Don't expect to see any changes, but you never can tell.

Later. A bus to the ATM on Broadway, a quick walk by the construction sites to take two of the usual three pictures and then a walk home, passing by a union protest banner and statue on the sidewalk of Grand near Harrison. Been a while since I've seen any of these since there were a series of them set up downtown on Broadway.

A walk the rest of the way home to flake out and watch an episode or two on the tablet before turning on the television news at two. Skipped out on taking a picture at the construction site up the way, not sure why. Altogether enough excitement for an afternoon.

Evening. More time with the tablet after checking a Swedish detective series that starts at six, watching more episodes of a seventy episode Netflix Chinese series The Rise of Phoenixes, each of them forty-three minutes in length and I'm now up to episode sixty-three.

Seventy episodes set in a mythical Chinese emperor's court where his sons are in an ongoing battle of succession, killing one another off, one going down in roughly every ten or so episodes.

And?

Can't complain. It's obviously kept me watching now since I can't remember when.
