Wednesday. Lights out early, as mentioned, to sleep straight through until five forty-five this morning, no memory of fireworks or anything else last night. OK, no good reason to break the habit and so up to take the blood pressure (130/74) and stretch out getting up to get ready to drive to breakfast, this morning's Democracy Now! interviewing a woman who's written a three volume biography of Elenore Roosevelt. Quite interesting. Gave me a much better idea of how much more she'd accomplished in her life. Also reminded me I was alive during the last two years of FDR's administration. That seemed long ago even back when.

Set out for breakfast in the car at a quarter to eight, the restaurant opening an hour later today, arriving to find it dark, but for the worker's light back in the kitchen, and so through the dining area door to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. The staff arrived a little later than usual, but ordered the beef patty, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the weight two tenths over one forty-eight pounds on the scale this morning, not that they're necessarily related.

Finished up at close to ten and drove home to take the selfie in the lobby and see what I could do with yesterday's entry before posting. Looks like we're going to have sun, with temperatures not too bad, and so out the door later maybe to take some pictures.

Ha!!!

My New Year's resolutions don't say anything about my repeating things over and over here, saying I'll do things I almost invariably don't. Not that I've made any actual resolutions, you understand.

Later. A walk up to the building site to take some pictures, more to get out of the apartment than not, and so the usual almost in frame photographs. OK, accomplished that without too much damage and so took off again to the ATM on Lakeshore, more to get in some walking after driving this morning to breakfast. Tired after walking to the ATM and back. Not a good sign, although it was a decent walk.

Evening. Finished a dumb Netflix series on the tablet, to bed early again, lights out not long after.
