After
Wednesday A decent night's sleep, awakening just before six to get up and walk to breakfast under overcast skies at seven-thirty, arriving at the usual time to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up a little early to do the usual walk back home with camera in hand under still overcast skies. No complaints, the overcast sky makes the lighting better for taking pictures.
A Native American Health Center group was setting up in the parking lot at Euclid and Grand, as it has been doing now and then in the near past and one of the members mentioned they were giving COVID tests to any and all who wanted them, did I want one? No, but now I know should I get any symptoms and they happen to be in place I'll go by. Maybe they'll start doing vaccinations when they're available? Right down the street?
Home to take the selfie with a smudge on the mirror getting in my eye and then up to settle in at the computer to go through the usual routine ending up here after a few diversions. Diversions that pushed this to two-thirty in the afternoon. No complaints, the day is going well, given how days go here anymore.
Later. Mid-sixties this now sunny afternoon, they're saying the temperatures are running five to ten degrees warmer than average for the next week or so. We need the rain, but after looking at my energy bill just now, warmer has its rewards.
Evening. More time on the tablet and listening on and off to the impeachment news and the questions being asked about what really happened in the run up to the protests and invasion of the Capitol building. We need to know more.
Lights out by ten, to sleep not all that long after.
