End The Day
A call from the Honda dealer just now, the car will be ready tomorrow afternoon. I'll pick it up Saturday morning. A weekend to play with the new toy. That's good. They'd estimated two weeks and now they've delivered in five days. Tomorrow night we're due to go over to San Francisco for drinks and dinner. I thought about copping out on drinks and dinner for about a half a second before deciding to pick it up Saturday.

Would I have made the same choice when I was younger? Was I ever young? Stupid, yes, but young? Well yes, younger than I should have been for too many years: young, impatient, thinking of toys before dinner with friends. Foolish youngster. Anyway (whoop!), a new car. Now where do I put this one I've got?

Otherwise a day done at a blinding pace. They go quickly when they're coming at you from every which direction. Listening to John Kerry speak in the background. Not a bad speech. Not a bad way to end the day.
