Decent Shots
Wednesday. No BART strike this morning, something that would have brought the area close to a halt. I'm not sure how many people commute on BART every morning, but one estimate put the traffic that would be backed up at the Bay Bridge toll booths at twenty-six miles. Freeway parking lots. I would say there are advantages of being able to walk to work, but that would be too obvious now, wouldn't it?

Anything earth shaking today?

Actually, the shoulder bag I lost Friday night was found by the driver of the cab we'd used to take us to the Cliff House and whose phone number we'd written down in order to call him when we needed a ride back to BART. I'd evidently left it in the cab going to BART. A friend who lives in San Francisco is going by the cab stand tonight to pick it up. Whoop! Makes me feel less stupid about losing it. No more knapsacks or shoulder bags, though, when I'm out doing the town. A camera, yes. Twisted or not I got some decent shots. Wouldn't want to miss no decent shots.

The photograph was taken at the San Francisco Gay Pride parade with a Nikon D2x mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 Nikkor VR lens at 1/250th second at f 2.8 at ISO 100.
