Under Construction

Family party on Bainbridge Island

July 21st, 2006

Little Or Nothing
Friday. A two day week. No complaints, the day clear, the head so-so, but so-so is pretty good I think. Better good than next to awful.

I mentioned the new camera hasn't had a PhotoShop RAW plug-in released yet so, although I can download the RAW images from the camera and look them over in Photo Mechanic (a nice program, by the way, Photo Mechanic), I can't adjust them yet or save them for the web. And, of course, I used the new camera with the 135mm lens for most of the portrait shots at the family party in Seattle and, well, that's my excuse for not posting pictures (yet) except for the one above and the one behind the Sole Proprietor logo.

Not very professional.

They say similar things about the work I do at the office. Still, as I said, a good day and I'm looking forward to the weekend where I will, no doubt, lay about the house and do little or nothing.

The photograph was taken at the family party on Bainbridge Island with a Nikon D2x mounted with a 17-55mm 2.8 Nikkor lens at 1/500th, f 2.8, ISO 100, one and a third stops over normal.
