Old Duff Here
Wednesday. A decent night's sleep awakening just after eight, the temperatures climbing. Another projected hundred degree day here south of Portland making it hard to concentrate on other than the weather. “How's the weather?” You have no idea. The thought occurs they're moving my old APL office, the last of it, to Phoenix at the end of September. My understanding is Phoenix summers make any carping we might do about the weather here just the inexperienced utterances of very small children. Good luck in Phoenix, all of you who took them up on their offer. No, really!
Later. A run with the sister to take a photograph or two on a wooded walk (the terrain around here really nice) and of a sculpture in downtown Lake Oswego. Also nice. The local news is all about the string of record setting temperatures and, of course, we've got it on in the background. Exciting stuff for an old duff, here in Oregon.
