On The Morrow
Sunday. So far we've managed to keep it to being just a “little” dingy during our journey, so to bed last night at midnight and up this morning at close to nine. Should be more than enough sleep, although we feel a little slow (still a “little” dingy) so off to a local Starbucks for coffee and a copy of the Sunday Times. The coffee helped.

Sister, brother-in-law and I headed to downtown Portland for a late breakfast at around one in the afternoon (I'd consider that a late breakfast, even for a Sunday) out at a table at a restaurant they liked and then off for a walk, my sister and I taking pictures. The sister is becoming as bad as I am, a camera always at hand. Could be something genetic, I suppose, probably best not to suppose.

The sun had come out by late morning, a nice day, quite warm, but I spent the rest of the afternoon on the laptop wrestling with the pictures from the party and the few taken earlier today. Probably best to take it easy, hold out for more coffee if I need more energy in the mornings.

Evening To bed at ten. Yes. At ten. Better rationality on the morrow.

The photo up top was taken at the family party on Bainbridge Island with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 50mm f/2.8 G Nikkor lens.
