To Bed

Tuesday. No sign of root canal pain or soreness, although I had trouble getting to sleep last night after lights out and radio off at ten. Awoke at quarter to six and fuddled around taking my time getting up and getting ready to walk to breakfast under a cloud shrouded sky. Still, all three papers had arrived and so a good walk, a good attitude and a good plain waffle with sliced strawberries and bananas, fruit cup and coffee breakfast. Did I mention not a peep from the teeth? The walk home taking the usual set of pictures.

The sun showed up around nine. Another Amazon delivery due today (two separate deliveries had arrived yesterday when I was at the dentist's) and I need to get a Protime test today. I'm two weeks late on getting the blood thinner Protime test, but it will give me an excuse to take pictures at the apartment house fire site through a proper lens and get in more walking.

Same old sinus-upper palate stuff going on, but the attitude good. We'll see about the energy level later.

Later. A bus to Broadway, taking a few pictures of the apartment house cleanup operation after getting off the bus and then walking on to the lab for the Protime test, taking more pictures along the way. Nice weather, comfortable in a long sleeved shirt, the gutted molar quiet as a mouse.

No line of people waiting at the lab and so in and out the door to shoot more pictures while walking. No particular thought put into the photographs, but it's interesting to see the construction progress they've made these last several weeks. Not a peep or a text from the cardiologist's office on the fact I'm now two weeks late in getting this blood drawn, but maybe it's not unusual for people to be late.

Learned the Republicans had managed to vote to open a debate on the health care bill, John McCain arriving in time to push it across. How many times on any given day can Dorothy suggest to Toto that we don't seem to be in Kansas anymore? I'm thinking the cowardly lions in this day and age can and do bite.

You're drifting.

Interesting times.

Evening. Tired. Watched Democracy Now, watched a couple of things on the tablet, watched Charlie Rose and then went to bed.

The photo up top was taken at the family party on Bainbridge Island with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
