Guess

Thursday. Lights out at a decent time, having taken the blood pressure at nine-ten and thinking 111/67 seemed low to be taking another dose, but figured I'd take it and work it out in the morning. It was 102/72 this morning when I awoke at a quarter to six. OK, we can go with that, not particularly wobbly in a low blood pressure sense, so up to listen to the KPFA five minute news and then Democracy Now! as I got ready to head out to breakfast.

A little cooler while walking, some watering eyes, but arrived to find the restaurant open and so sat down with the papers and ordered the oatmeal, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast when they started taking orders at seven-thirty.

So far so good. Overcast and so the pictures were a little muted. Muddy. Whatever. Three Bird scooters this time and one Lime scooter setting out from the restaurant, but no scooters spotted at their usual spots the rest of the way. So much for excitement to start our day, but no complaints, things seem to be starting relatively well.

Started the laundry, somewhat to my surprise, although the jockey shorts were running low. Probably a good sign getting it started without bitching. Ducking. Arguing. We'll see what the rest of the day may hold.

Later. The blood pressure was 78/62 at eleven-twenty as the laundry was finishing and so crashed for an hour. Not good. Things came back together by mid-afternoon, but I'd spent the late morning and early afternoon watching stuff on the tablet. So we'll talk with the doctor about taking something with a smaller dose if this doesn't work itself out.

Later still. After watching more of the Netflix series The Forest I've decided I haven't seen it before, confusing it with another French series that was also set in a French forest. Which is good because I was thinking if I'm two hours into this thing and the memory hasn't been able to tell whether I've seen it before, then the memory has gone further over the edge than I knew. Finished the rest of it late this afternoon.

Evening. Watched the second episode of Happy Valley at eight. Same trouble making out what they were saying and so not quite understanding most of the evolving plot. It took half this second episode for me to remember what the characters had been up to in the first episode, but it kept my interest for all that. Good, I guess.
