Morning

Tuesday. Indeed didn't get to sleep until after one in the morning, awakening at six-fifteen to get up and go through the usual routine, setting out walking under cloud covered skies to breakfast, arriving at about the usual time to enter the closed off dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. More tired than usual for a walk to breakfast. Didn't think about the blood pressure that had come in at 111/65. A little low, but not out of line for recent readings in the morning.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up at nine-fifteen and setting out to walk home, thinking maybe keep the number of flower photographs to a reasonable number. Again tired walking, not off the charts, but thinking this getting older without getting enough exercise is not going in a good direction and so took the blood pressure first thing after taking the selfie and had it come in at 100/55. Well, hell. We'll take more readings, I'm now not so sure this problem has entirely gone away.

Home to start the laundry, fighting the idea, but feeling better once I'd left the apartment with basket in hand to head for the elevator. We'll take the blood pressure again when we get back and finished and posted yesterday's entry.

Back up to 120/71 by noon. Hmm.

Later. Finished the first season of Cursed, its ending implying a second season is in the works. Interesting series, hokey in some ways, way out there in interesting left fields for a series of this type.

Nobody understands what you're talking about unless they've seen the thing.

Laziness on my part. It's an odd take on King Arthur, Lancelot, Merlin and the like, but weirdly mixed in how it's put together so it appears to be a completely different story. Weird, but for that reason interesting. But enough.

Evening. Watched Last Tango In Halifax that started at seven, this time pretty much straight through and paying attention. More crises, drunken and otherwise, but it seemed to have kept my attention. Wondering after getting to sleep so late last night whether or not I'd be unusually tired this evening and so to bed early after nine. Am I? Not sure. I guess we'll know in the morning.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
