Thursday. It did take until after eleven to get to sleep last night to awaken a couple of times briefly and then awaken with the six-thirty alarm, so who knows how much sleep I actually got? Still, no complaints, the head doesn't feel unusually stupid and so a drive to the Lakeshore ATM under a bright sun and then on over the hill to the restaurant, parking by the 7-11 store and crossing Grand to settle in at my table in the indoor dining area and start on the papers. There are almost always one or two people waiting to pick up take out food when I first arrive, but sit down diners usually don't arrive until much later.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up around nine to walk back to the car and drive straight home, taking the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry (I hadn't written much of anything yesterday morning and it took some time to sew it together), post the thing and process the four or so pictures before starting here. Coherent or not we're not giving up this day. Well, not until later.

Later. Turns out there was a first season of The Mire '97' and so watched it this afternoon. Would have been better if I'd watched this one before watching season two, but what can you do? I hope Poland isn't as screwed up as the Poland portrayed in this thing conveys. Still, Poland. You read stories. Could be.

So far reasonably clear headed and actually got some things done in the kitchen in addition to preparing for some appointments I have coming up. Add to all that the dusting I manged to get done. Sounds silly, but it's a real step forward. If I did this every day the apartment would look good in no more than a month.

Evening. I did watch Vera. I'd seen it before, maybe more than once, but didn't remember the plot until the very end when it was revealed by the program. The truth will set you free and lies will send you to ruin. Worth this second view.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco LGBTQ Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
