After Ten

Thursday. Awake for good at five fifty-five in time to listen to the five minute KPFA news followed by Democracy Now! at six, up to drive to the Lakeshore ATM and then on over the hill to the restaurant, parking by the 7-11 and then crossing Grand to enter the indoor dining area and settle in with the papers. Just the slightest hesitancy in starting the car this morning, so I'm thinking it's time to charge the battery again.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to drive straight home and take the selfie in the lobby before settling down at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post and process the pictures, finishing up here at ten-thirty. Now to track down the extension cord and hook up the battery to the charing unit.

Later. No naps, but hooked up the car battery (it was low, but not as low as I thought) to charge through tomorrow afternoon, watched the half hour television news at noon and then watched three of the early House episodes from its first season. I'd watched what I thought were close to all of them many years ago, but don't think I've seen these from its first season. They all pretty much have the same plot and interactions, but I liked it back then and evidently still like it today, although I'm not sure how long they or I will last.

Evening. Nothing on television and in bed by eight to watch more of the House episodes with lights out finally not long after nine. Not overly tired and so still glancing at the clock until well after ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco LGBTQ Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
