Set

Sunday. To sleep sometime after ten to awaken at just before six and listen to the news before getting up on an overcast morning to drive to breakfast. Entered restaurant as they were in the middle of setting up the patio tables and chairs and so settled in at my table inside to start on the papers. Most of the people save one who arrived later opted to sit out on the patio, overcast or not.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to set out for the car and managing to get in some flower pictures as I was parked just down the way from the restaurant. I'd been wondering if it was exposed to potential catalytic converter thieves as cars were over on Lakeshore when they were left parked for short periods, but it started just fine and so home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in here at the computer.

The usual glitches, spelling and typos in yesterday's entry that needed correcting before posting followed by processing this morning's pictures and starting here. I'm guessing that doing all the daily entry correcting and picture processing before starting the writing adds to the tiredness and half asleep writing and carping about it here.

Later. Watched quit a bit of the last round of the 3M Open PGA tournament before settling in with the tablet and watching more episodes of Chicago Med. Odd to recognize characters from the Chicago P.D. series created by the same production company whenever policemen are required to show up.

Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed before nine to put away the tablet and turn the lights out at nine-thirty, nothing on radio I find worth listening to on Sunday nights. Tired, yes, but not a bad day other than I spent most of it lying down with the tablet or watching a golf tournament of all things on the television set.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
