Under Construction

San Francisco Cherry Blossom Parade

June 25th, 2006

Mumbling There
Friday. Two days of class has made this a three day week, a three day class starting Monday will make next week a two day week. Life is good, here at the end of the rainbow hallucinating on a late Friday afternoon as I sit at the computer, fan softly blowing air across my lap, Ms. Emmy curled up in the bedroom.

Saturday. The head as funky as the head ever gets, but a day without duties, a day without plans, a day to take it an hour at a time: a nap here, a nap there, a walk down the way, spaghetti with pepper and cheese while watching some really horrible Japanese television. No complaints.

Sunday. The Gay Pride Parade this morning, breakfast at seven at the usual cafe then a ride on BART to San Francisco for two or so hours of shooting before the parade actually started and I left for home. Not so bad, a couple of good photographs, tired for those two hours of running around with a camera. A couple of cameras. Troubleshoot the computer a bit when I got home, replace the 17 gig boot drive with a 144 gig boot drive but with less than wonderful results. Mumble-mumble. I have a three day class in San Francisco beginning tomorrow, three days away from the office. No mumbling there.

The photograph was taken at the San Francisco Cherry Blossom parade with a Nikon D2x mounted with a 70-200mm 2.8 Nikkor VR lens at 1/640th, f 2.8, ISO 320.
