This Wednesday
Wednesday. Well, technically it's the middle of the week, but essentially my last day at work ends tomorrow. Friday I have an exit meeting at 10:00 and since they take my laptop, entry badge, axe my security rights (which being world wide are out of the ordinary and need to be chopped on the spot), I'm finished. Lunch with some of the folks, dinner later in San Francisco with other of the folks and then I'm, well, a retiree. Just like that. A month of detox and then I hope, whatever may come in the way of adventure, I'll get on board. Seems strange, but I've had a few glasses of wine after work and I'm up for it. Mellowed out for it. Ready for it. On this Wednesday. In June.
